One of the more defining features of the ASUS Transformer Pad (and its siblings) is its keyboard dock. This basically turns the tablet into a laptop-hybrid and helps with productivity, especially since we’re sure many of you guys can agree that typing out long documents on an on-screen keyboard is hardly ideal. Unfortunately the keyboard dock accessory is sold separately from the tablet and is usually priced at $150 which might put some people off. The good news is that from now until the 1st of September, Sears is offering customers an offer in which if they were to buy the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300, they will be able to get their hands on the keyboard dock accessory for free! Considering it wasn’t too long ago that the Transformer Pad got updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, $399.99 for a Jelly Bean-ready tablet with a free keyboard dock accessory worth $150 sure sounds like a pretty good deal. Pop on over to Sears’ website for the details.

Update – As it turns out according to a commenter on Droiddog’s website, Sears told him that they were out of stock regarding the keyboard dock, and it looks like the special offers has also been taken down from their website. Just a heads up in case anyone is trying to get in on the deal!
