One of the pretty unique features of the Galaxy Nexus when it was launched last year was its display which is curved ever so slightly, lending to the possibility that fully flexible smartphones are indeed in the near future. It seems that inspired by the Olympics and perhaps thinking of what the next Nexus device should or would look like, engineer Dorian Lust has come up with a concept device.

Featuring a very obviously curved display, it seems that the idea here is for the phone to sit comfortable in the curve of your palm. Other features include a built-in kickstand, LEDs positioned on the edge of the device that acts as notification lights and also lights to help with the front-facing camera during low light situations, along with a fingerprint scanner for security and an IR blaster. It looks a bit odd and personally the design isn’t for me, but what do you guys think? Any takers?
