If you’re in the market for a new camera, the folks at Canon Rumors have been tipped off that there might be an announcement by Canon next week for a new EOS 6D. The full specs of the camera have not been revealed yet, but here are some of the specs that we can expect – if they are true. For starters it will feature a 22MP image sensor that is the same as the 5D MK III, 4.5fps, a touchscreen display, the same AF system used in the 7D and will feature a build that is of slightly lower quality compared to the 5D MK III. If anything it sounds like it’s an in-between camera of the 7D and the 5D MK III, but we guess we will have to wait for the official announcement and specs to see if they are true. In any case we’ll be taking this with a grain of salt for now and suggest you do the same too, but if you like the idea of an EOS 6D with the specs mentioned above, be sure to check back with us next week for confirmation if there is any to be had!
