Earlier this morning, we took a look at the rumor of a new super slim PS3 getting ready to be announced at the Tokyo Game Show which is happening at the end of this month, although one would also do well to take this bit of news with a pinch of salt. Well, here we are with a more detailed look at the super slim PS3, where it is said to come with a 500GB model in addition to a far less spacious (data-wise, of course) 12GB super slim PS3 which is made available over at Polish electronics retailer Media Expert.

September 28th is the listed available date for both new models, where the 12GB super slim PS3 will retail for €199, while those who want the far more spacious 500GB model will have to fork out €299 a pop. It goes without saying just which purchase makes far more sense, although in these economically trying moments, we could see some folks prefer to hold back on the €100 and spend it on other more crucial and important things, like food. Do you think that there will be a new budget friendly super slim PS3 coming our way in time for Christmas, and why?
