Some folks have reported that they have managed to get a closer look at the 32GB version of the NExus 7 at a local Office Depot, where said tablet will still cost far less than the iPad mini at $250 a pop. One ought to take into consideration that the 32GB model of the Nexus 7 has been whispered about tech circles for some time already, in addition to word of price cuts being introduced to the 16GB Nexus 7 in the UK. At time of publishing, Office Depot’s website does list the 16GB as well as 8GB versions of the Nexus 7 as “not available for purchase at this time.”

According to the person who spotted the 32GB Nexus 7 at Office Depot, “Google may have cancelled the New York Android event because of Hurricane Sandy, but that may not stop retailers from going ahead with plans to offer product. The channel isn’t easily stopped, particularly when there is chance to get in front of competitors with a hot product.”

All in all, it does seem as though the 32GB Nexus 7 will retail for $250, with the 16GB model experiencing a $50 price cut – at least over at Office Depot
