Projectors are usually hefty and its quite a hassle to carry them around. At the same time, they may be indispensable for a professional who often has to give presentations or if you wish to carry around your own large-screen entertainment with you (of course you can’t carry around that LCD of yours).

3M streaming projector is a rather apt solution to this conundrum. It is a tiny projector which can easily be carried around, weighing a mere 1lb. The size is so tiny that it can easily fit into your hands, yet it can cast a display as large as 120 inches wide.

A single recharge of the projector keeps it going for two and half hours. The most interesting part of this projector is that it comes with a Roku streaming stick which beams content directly to the projector, over Wi-Fi. The Roku stick, in turn, can stream content from a number of content providers such as Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Instant Video.

If you wish to lay your hands on this nifty device, you will have to wait till December which is when it will become available on Amazon. The going price, we are told, is going to be $299 which may a rather handful but given the handiness of the device, it may well be worth it.
