Alleged ASUS Padfone 2 specs leaked ahead of announcement

Are you looking forward to the ASUS Padfone 2? According to a leak, it seems that we can expect the device to be announced come 16^th of October. Now thanks to the guys at Eee PC.it, it looks like we might have more clues as to what sort of specs the Padfone 2 could be packing under its hood. For starters we can expect a 4.7” display with a resolution of 1280×720. It is also expected to feature a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor along with a 13MP camera. Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC along with a 2,140mAh battery. No word on which version of Android it will be running on although according to an Antutu database spotting, the ASUS Padfone 2 is expected to come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at the very least. Hopefully on its alleged announcement on the 16^th of October, it will see an upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Either way since none of this is official at the moment, we suggest you take this with a grain of salt for now, but do check back with us on the 16^th where hopefully we will have more details to share with you guys!
