For those living in Sweden, there is a good chance that your ASUS Transformer Prime tablet has received its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update. While that’s all and good, what about those of us living stateside? Well the good news is that if you’re living in the US and you have yet to receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for your ASUS Transformer Prime tablet, it seems that ASUS has put the update on their website, allowing users to download it if they wish. It should be noted that this means that you will need to download and manually install the upload via sideloading, so if you have no idea what that is about, perhaps doing your due diligence before proceeding might be a good idea – either that or you can wait for the update notification.

For those who are familiar with sideloading and don’t want to wait, head on over to the ASUS download center and search for the “TF201” (without quotes). It will then take you to your tablet’s firmware download page where you will be able to download the update which is 318.98MB in size, which will also bump your tablet’s firmware to V10.1.2.15.
