If the LG Optimus G is a phone that you’ve had your eye on, you might be interested to learn that if you planned to pick it up on AT&T’s network, the carrier has announced that the handset will be available come 2nd of November and will be priced at $199.99. This is LG’s latest flagship handset and looks quite promising in terms of hardware specs and could in theory be one of the most powerful smartphones available on the market. AT&T has also announced that pre-orders for the handset are now up so pop on over to AT&T’s website to pre-order the device today!

So what sort of specs are we looking at here? Well in case you forgot, the LG Optimus G will feature a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor under its hood, 2GB of RAM accompanying it, 32GB of internal storage, a 4.7” True HD IPS display and an 8MP rear-facing camera. It will also come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich preinstalled, although we expect that AT&T/LG will be bumping it up to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in the future. Alternatively Sprint has also announced the LG Optimus G and it is priced the same at $199.99 with a new two-year contract.
