Gamers if you’re looking forward to getting your hands on the upcoming BioShock Infinite, you might be interested to learn that both a Premium Edition and an Ultimate Songbird Edition have been announced and they have been priced at $149.99 and $79.99 respectively. They are obviously more expensive than the regular edition, although we guess these are copies aimed at fans of the franchise and not your average gamer. So what will you be getting for your hard-earned money? According to the Sony PlayStation Blog, this is what you can expect from the Premium Edition:

  • A 3-inch baby version keychain of the sold-out Murder of Crows vigor bottle replica.
  • A 5 x 7-inch lithograph by Jorge Lacera.
  • A 25 millimeter, resin-cast Handyman miniature from the upcoming BioShock Infinite board game by Plaid Hat Games, makers of Summoner Wars.
  • A mini art book, full of BioShock Infinite concept art and commentary, with a hand-distressed cover.
  • Various digital goodies: exclusive in-game gear, a digital soundtrack, and platform specific downloadable content (Avatars for Xbox LIVE, and Themes for PC and PlayStation 3).

Those are also the same features and goodies that gamers can expect from the Ultimate Songbird Edition, with one main exception – a nine and a half inch exception to be exact. The Ultimate Songbird Edition will come with the same goodies as the Premium Edition, except that it will come packed in a special edition packaging that will also contain a 9.5” Songbird statue. Pretty cool stuff, huh? Needless to say both editions will be limited so if you’d like to get your hands on them, head on over to the BioShock Infinite website for the details on how to pre-order either copy for yourself!
