Command & Conquer was the first ever RTS game that I played, which then led to me branching out to other RTS games such as Warcraft and Starcraft. Well if you’re looking to relive some nostalgia or perhaps see what the fuss about Command & Conquer was all about, EA has announced that they have launched the Command & Conquer: The Ultimate Edition, which packs a whopping 17 games in it! Yup, you will basically have access to every Command & Conquer game released to date, such as Tiberium, Red Alert, Generals and etc. Priced at $49.99, the Ultimate Edition can be bought via the EA Origin Store, or you could go to a retail store and pick up a physical copy.

It’s odd that they call it a physical copy since there are no physical copies of the games included. Instead gamers just get access to a code which takes them to the website where they can download the games. We guess since some of the titles are old, they don’t take up quite as much memory compared to newer games, but gamers can expect a 41GB download. Gamers who purchase The Ultimate Edition will also get access to the musical scores used in the games and early access to 2013’s Command & Conquer release. More details can be found on the Command & Conquer website.
