Towards the end of September, Nokia Europe announced the availability and pricing of the Lumia 920 and the Lumia 820 for certain countries in Europe. Given that the Nokia Lumia 920 is the Finnish company’s flagship phone, its price was somewhat expected, although personally it was higher than I expected. Either way if those prices put the Lumia 920 way out of your price range, then perhaps Nokia’s low-end Lumia phone, the Lumia 510, might be of interest to you.

The Lumia 510 was tipped last month and thanks to the folks at GSM Arena, they have managed to get their hands on what looks like a photo of the handset. Its specs are nothing to shout at and will supposedly come with a 4” display, 4GB of internal memory and 256MB of RAM, and according to GSM Arena’s source, the phone will go on sale for a very affordable $150.

It should be noted that the price of $150 is for an unlocked device which means that you will not be tied to any carrier. The handset is expected to be made available in time for the holidays and should see a global release in 2013. Since there has not been any official word, we’ll keep an eye out for more news but until then, we suggest taking this with a grain of salt for now.
