Last month, we were wondering whether the Samsung Galaxy GT-I9260 Premier would be the eventual Galaxy Nexus successor, while a couple of months back, specifications for this particular device was apparently leaked. Here we are today with a photo of said smartphone in addition to more specifications for your perusal – but whether it will be the next Galaxy Nexus or not remains to be seen, although our money would be on it being most likely considering how many other manufacturers will soon release a Nexus device of their own – sanctioned by Google, of course.

It does seem as though the Samsung Galaxy GT-I9260 Premier has been styled after the Samsung Galaxy S3, although the shape has been altered enough to make it a device of its own. One can expect to enjoy a 4.65” display with 720p resolution, where it will be powered by a dual-core ARM 1.5GHz processor, sporting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean right out of the box, with either 8GB or 16GB of internal memory, in addition to an 8.1-megapixel camera at the back and a 2-megapixel shooter in front, microUSB port, Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and HSPA connectivity, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes and a 3.5mm headset jack.

There are whispers of a 480 Euro price tag, but we await with bated breath for an official announcement.
