Samsung KIES updated, receives new user interface

It seems that the good people over at Samsung has decided to introduce a new update to their KIES program, where upon a successful download and installation process, it would bump up your Samsung KIES version to 2.5.0.12094_27. Yes, I know that it is not exactly the easier number to remember at this point in time, making nicknames a whole lot easier to carry in one’s mind, but that’s the way things are done in the software world for some time already, and the trend looks set to continue well into the future.

The release date of this version is October 4th (today, of course), and it really looks totally fresh compared to its predecessor. Word has it that Samsung has plans for more changes (for the better) down the road, but none of these have been divulged just yet. Perhaps a leak is in order, anyone? For those who have already given the Samsung KIES update a download and gone through the installation process, how do you find it?
