Apple Store for iOS gets updated with gift cards and searching with SiriIt looks like the Cupertino-based technology behemoth has just updated its Apple Store app on iOS just in time for upcoming Holiday season. A quick look at the Apple Store app for the iPhone, the iPad, and iPod touch reveals that it has been ramped up to version 2.4. So, what can iOS users expect from the update? First, the Apple Store on iOS will now allow users to buy new gift cards and even email them to people they know from the app. This new functionality, which is only available in the U.S. for now, can be accessed by using the new Passbook app. But probably the more exciting new feature in version 2.4 is the capability to use Siri to help users find prices and products. Of course, your device must have Siri first in order to enjoy this feature. You can get the Apple Store app for iOS here.
