Not to be outdone with the current cloud-based storage options available around like Dropbox and Google Drive, telecommunications giant AT&T is announcing a new cloud storage app called AT&T Locker. The app, which is already available in the App Store, is a free and easy-to-use photo and video sharing service for AT&T customers. AT&T Locker offers a secured storage space for photos, videos, documents, and music. Users can upload files automatically from their phone and they will also get a free 5GB storage from AT&T.

There’s also the option to upgrade to 30GB for just $3.99 a month or 100GB for only $9.99 a month. AT&T Locker also allows its users to access their files anywhere from their phone and computer and sharing is also fast via Facebook, MySpace, Twitter or email. “Customers use smartphones to capture special moments in their lives. That’s why we designed AT&T Locker to help you store those memories,” said Mark Collins, Senior Vice President of Data and Voice Products at AT&T Mobility. “With Easy Upload, every photo and video is uploaded directly to AT&T’s cloud, which can be accessed safely and securely anytime from a customer’s smartphone or the Web.”
