Thanks to the wonders of the Internet and video sharing websites like YouTube as well as a plethora of other factors (fast Internet connection, video conversion tools, video formats, the works), it is a snap to send word around of upcoming details on a movie, song, or even video game. Take for instance this new video from popular YouTube montage maker “L0ckl34r”, where he has delivered what is deemed by many to be the first PC footage of the Battlefield 3 expansion known as Aftermath. Sporting three minutes of gameplay that was captured at EA France’s headquarters, you get to have a glimpse into what is to come.

Unfortunately, it must be said that footage from the Scavenger mode is now exactly as sprawling as you would have liked it to be, so very little is different from the console footage that has been released to date. Still, having slightly improved graphics is better than none, as one is restricted to 720p resolution. After all, something is better than nothing, and the video shows off what one is capable of achieving with a keyboard and mouse wielded in a skillful manner.
