Samsung Germany decided to leverage its Facebook page as a platform to share information concerning updates and upgrades to their existing range of consumer electronics, and the latest bit of information to come out would be the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update that will be making its way towards the Samsung Galaxy S Advance sometime in January next year. That is not too long to wait, just slightly more than a month, and when you throw in the frenzy of Christmas activities into the mix, you can be sure that time will pass all too quickly.

The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S Advance will arrive via the Kies software as well as Over The Air (OTA), depending on which platform you prefer to take. I guess it is better late than never, considering how the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update was originally rumored for a November release. Better be late and release a working version rather than being out of the stables early, with a gimped experience for users.
