Satechi has just announced that the uCharger, a USB charging adapter is now available to the masses. Just what makes this compact device so handy to carry around? For starters, the uCharger will boast of a trio of modes that you can take advantage of depending on the device, and another plus point of the uCharger is its ability to juice up USB-based devices up to 4 times faster. You need not worry if you have high capacity devices like the iPad or the Samsung Galaxy Tab, the uCharger from Satechi is able to handle these tablets without batting an eyelid.

With three different modes that are compatible with most USB devices, you can toggle between iOS devices (blue LED light), Android tablets (red LED light), and data transfer/no charging (no LED light) modes. Good to know that the Satechi uCharger is also compatible with majority of the other vehicles’ USB charging port, helping decrease the amount of charging time of tablets whenever you drive to your destination. It will retail for a mere $9.99 a pop, making it a decent addition to any road warrior’s peripherals list.
