When it comes to playing video games, having an idea on where your opponent is would be of utmost importance, and sometimes a pair of speakers just will not do. Here we are with the Skullcandy PLYR2, which is a wireless gaming headset that will deliver 2.4GHz wireless audio. Sporting Skullcandy’s “Supreme Sound” technology, there is a GMX stereo transmitter that helps balance out game and voice audio, alongside a trio of different EQ sound modes and an adjustable boom mic which can be flipped all the way up to mute it.

You can choose from black, white and teal shades if you happen to want to rope in the PLYR2 as part of your gaming hardware repertoire. At $129.99 a pop, it is not exactly the most affordable gaming headset in town, but you know for sure that quality is right up there on the agenda. There is also a more highly advanced Dolby Surround Sound-equipped PLYR1 which is due to debut sometime early next year.
