Sony has priced its 4K Ultra HD Video Player at a rather hefty $25,000, and this is touted to be the first 4K player of its kind for the home from any manufacturer for that matter. Apart from that, it will boast of a hard-disc server, which will be made available on an exclusive basis on no-additional cost lease to purchasers, and it will come preloaded with 10 full-length feature films to help you get started right out of the box. Among the movies thrown into the mix include The Amazing Spider-Man, Total Recall (2012), Taxi Driver, Bridge Over the River Kwai.

Of course, if you are sick and tired of movies, there are always other alternatives such as a number of short concert/action sports clips from Red Bull. Oh yeah, did we mention that this bad boy will also pack an Xperia Tablet S with a special remote control app which is not too different from that of its Movies Unlimited service? Talk about a first time opportunity to experience 4K video of such caliber right in the comfort of your own home.
