If there’s something strange in the neighborhood, who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters! If you grew up with the Ghostbusters, you might be interested to learn that Capcom’s social and mobile subsidiary, Beeline Interactive, is expected to launch a Ghostbusters social game on iOS come 2013. According to the company, the game will naturally be based around the Ghostbusters films and players will basically drive around New York City, fighting ghosts, leveling up and upgrading their gear. Capcom will be marketing this game as a game that fathers and sons can play together. Interestingly this seems to be a contrast against the company’s other social game, Smurfs’ Village which according to Beeline, has a larger female base which includes “mothers, daughters and granddaughters”. We’re not sure what to expect from this game, but if you’re a fan of the Ghostbusters, perhaps this could be a game worth keeping an eye out for.
