Yesterday we reported that the global version of the HTC One S had begun to receive the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update, and we’re sure that many of you guys stateside are wondering when will the update be arriving for the T-Mobile version of the device. Well the good news is that according to an email sent to a reader at TmoNews, it seems that HTC has begun selecting users who will be taking part in a testing phase for the Android Jelly Bean update for T-Mobile HTC One S devices. The update is said to be in its beta phase although there is no word on how long it will be staying that way, or when T-Mobile HTC One S owners can expect to receive it, but either way it’s still good news because it’s still a sign of progress as opposed to being left in the dark. For the sake of T-Mobile HTC One S owners, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed and hoping that the update will be released to you guys in the near future. In the meantime you can check back with us at a later date for more news regarding the update if there are any to be had.
