Towards the end of November we reported that there was a good chance that Adobe could finally be releasing a Retina version of Photoshop CS6 optimized for the 13” and 15” Retina MacBook Pros. Well the good news is that if you own either of these laptops, you will be pleased to learn that the update is now available for download which will not only bump your Photoshop CS6 to Retina quality graphics, but your Illustrator CS6 as well! The update for Photoshop CS6 measures in about 129MB in size so just fire up the software and get downloading. I personally don’t own a Retina MacBook Pro, but if you do, reports have indicated that the Retina update will be extremely obvious which we can’t help but imagine is a good thing.
