It is said that Samsung has begun to introduce the official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to their range of Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Note 10.1 devices, and just in case you were wondering what model that is, it would fall under the purview of model number N8010. The update is massive – we are talking about a 441MB file, so it would be best to remain to a Wi-Fi connection when downloading it, and it seems that only folks living in Germany at the moment will be able to access this file Over The Air.

Majority of the Jelly Bean updates that roll out these days are meant for non-Nexus devices, coming in Android 4.1 instead of 4.2, and this time around, it is no exception, either. It does seem as though owners of the Galaxy Note 10.1 will be on the receiving end of this software update as well. It is said that there is an LTE version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 in the pipeline which could see action Stateside with Verizon Wireless as the mobile carrier of choice, especially after its appearance at the FCC recently.
