CES is the time of the year when many companies gather in one location and show off brand new and exciting products, some of which are concepts, while others are actual products that will be launched soon. Now the good news is that if you’ve enjoyed Sony’s camera offerings, the folks at Sony Alpha Rumors have been tipped off that come CES 2013, Sony will be taking the wraps off some of their new products. Before the budding photographer in you gets too excited, it seems that these new products they will be unveiling won’t be a Full-Frame NEX camera or a Full-Frame SLT, instead these new products are expected to be part of Sony’s compact camera range. It almost seems anticlimactic, doesn’t it? Then again not everyone needs the power of a NEX or SLT camera, so there’s definitely still a market for compact cameras. Either way check back with us during CES as we will be on site and we will be bringing you the latest news in all things electronic.
