Microsoft’s Xbox SmartGlass application has been a hit with Windows Phone, iOS and Android users ever since it launched over a month ago as it adds an additional level of content while using your Xbox 360. And for iPhone 5 users, that experience is going to get a little bit better as Microsoft has just pushed out an update that will allow your Xbox SmartGlass app to use every inch of your iPhone 5 screen.

That’s right – the Xbox SmartGlass app now supports the iPhone 5, and boy, do we not miss those black bars. Not only that, but the update also contains the mysterious, but oh so important “Bug Fixes.”

If you use your Xbox SmartGlass application to show off your Halo 4 stats to the hot ladies down at your local Panera Bread, but have been ashamed to lately due to the lack of support for your iPhone 5, now you can do so without getting snickered at too much. It would also help if your kill / death ratio was above 0.5. No self-respecting woman would date anyone who is as sloppy as a 0.5 and below.
