Word has it that during CES 2013, HTC could be taking the wraps off a device called the M7. Not much is known about the device apart from its rumored specs and features, one of them being that the device will be the first of HTC’s products to run on Sense 5. Previous HTC phones featured the Sense 4+ UI, and word has it that Sense 5 will be announced alongside the HTC M7. Whether that is true or not remains to be seen, but it would seem as if screenshots of the alleged Sense 5 UI have leaked, giving us a glimpse of what the dialer and the new keyboard looks like.

Assuming these screenshots are legitimate, it looks like Sense 5 will be quite a change from Sense 4+, with HTC going for a simpler and cleaner look. Of course all this boils down to personal preference – some might like clean and simple, while others want something a little more complex. Either way don’t put too much hope into these screenshots just yet, but since we will be at CES 2013, fret not as we’ll keep our eyes peeled and if there is an announcement from HTC, we’ll most definitely be there. Until then what do you guys think?
