About a week ago photos of the Blackberry 10 Z10 was spotted with Verizon’s branding on it, suggesting that the Z10 could be making an appearance on Verizon’s network. Now more photos of the device have been spotted on Chinese marketplace, Taobao, although it should be noted that these are dummy units meaning that they will be used to put the phone on display versus the actual device. Dummy units are pretty common and can be spotted in retailers all around the world, giving customers a brief idea of what to expect before the actual unit is given to them to test out, or in some cases it is used as a placeholder for customers to make pre-orders. In any case it looks like these dummy units come with Verizon’s branding as well, and if you like you can actually purchase the dummy unit for yourself via Taobao for $50 although in all honesty your money could be better spent on something else. RIM will be launching the Blackberry 10 platform come 30th of January, and hopefully the announcement of its accompanying devices and supported carriers will be announced as well, but for now it looks like Verizon will be one of them.
