Garmin’s bread and butter would be GPS navigation systems, although they do have some GPS devices for those who love fishing, and this time around, we have something that is far, far removed from what they are used to. I am referring to the Garmin BarkLimited series of bark reduction collars and the Delta series of training collars for dogs, which have been thought up of in collaboration with Tri-Tronics, and both series will feature proven and safe electronic correction technology that have seen action in electronic dog training devices for over four decades.

The BarkLimiter series will help dog owners gain control over nuisance barking, where it boasts of bark identification technology that relies on innovative accelerometer technology, letting the BarkLimiter tell the difference between barking and other vocalizations. Not only that, there is also Advanced Bark Correction Technology that offers consistent and instantaneous correction, at the same time reduce false corrections that can be caused by external noises by a substantial amount.

The Delta series is a training collar and a bark collar rolled into one, combining two features into a small package. It functions as a “virtual leash” up to three-quarters of a mile away, talk about working from a distance! You can enjoy a wide range of customizable correction settings, where among them include tone, vibration, and 18 levels of momentary and continuous stimulation.

The BarkLimiter, BarkLimiter Deluxe, Delta, and Delta Sport will retail for $79.99, $99.99, $199.99, and $249.99, respectively, when they arrive later this quarter. [Press Release]
