Genius has redesigned its famous Pen Mouse. The company is announcing today a carbon grey Pen Mouse that features a redesigned shape that improves grip and a pen clip for portability and ease. Available in carbon grey or silver color options, the new Pen Mouse is now available in the U.S. at a suggested retail price of $49.99. Genius’s Pen Mouse uses a 2.4 GHz wireless technology to connect to desktops and notebooks via a USB.

It is powered by a single AAA battery and it can be used on almost any surface, even on your palm, as you can see in the photo above. It has three dpi settings and is switchable between 400/800/1200 dpi to accommodate various sensitivity preferences. It also has the capability to enter into a power-saving sleep-mode when not in use. To use it, just push the flying-scroll button either vertically or horizontally to scroll and activate the left-click by pushing it downward. Users can also activate the right click functionality by pressing the tip of the pen.
