Do you love all things God of War? If you have answered in the affirmative, then you would want to check out the PlayStation Network (PSN for short) that has now opened the God of War: Ascension mutiplayer beta to just about everyone. This is good news, as it was originally available only to participants of the “Rise of the Warrior” experience on the God of War website, followed by exclusive accessibility to PlayStation Plus members, and now, the general public.

The multiplayer beta was open at the end of last week all the way through the holiday weekend, but this offer is good only if you have a PlayStation 3 and a valid North American PlayStation Network account. After all, the “try before you buy” concept is one that still works even in this day and age, where you have different kinds of modes (8-player or 4-player), a deathmatch known as Favor of the Gods (Deathmatch), as well as new maps such as Desert of Lost Souls (large map) & Forum of Hercules (arena).
