Heads up Pokemon fans, if you are looking forward to new Pokemon games in 2013, you’re in luck as Nintendo has announced that they will be releasing brand new Pokemon game series for the Nintendo 3DS called Pokemon X and Pokemon Y come 2013. This was confirmed by Nintendo’s president Satoru Iwata during a Nintendo Direct presentation today. Even better news is that according to Iwata, the game will be released in multiple regions “around the same time”, which includes North America, Europe, Australia and Japan. This is pretty cool especially considering that English versions of certain games takes quite a while before they leave the Japanese market and head for foreign territories. The new Pokemon series will feature three new Pokemon: Froakie, Fennekin and Chespin, and will allow players around the world with play with each other. In the meantime you can check out the Nintendo Direct presentation in the video above, or you can skip to around 7:15 where the trailer starts.
