[CES 2013] So you got yourself a Nintendo Wii U as a Christmas present, and we can only assume that you’re probably in the market for some accessories that will enhance your gaming experience. The good news is that if you are, gaming peripheral manufacturer, Nyko, has announced that they will be showing off several new Wii U accessories as part of their CES 2013 lineup. One of which is the Charge Station U which is the successor to the Charge Station for the Wii. What the Charge Station U does is that it will charge the GamePad which is part of the Wii U console, along with 2 Wii Remotes simultaneously, while including 2 NiMH rechargeable batteries and rubberized battery covers for the remotes for a better grip.

All you’d have to do is drop the Wii Remotes or the GamePad into the charging cable and you’re good to go. In fact the GamePad portion of the Charge Station U is adjustable which means that you will be able to adjust the viewing angles, allowing you to watch videos while the device is being charged at the same time. Sounds pretty handy, doesn’t it?

The Nyko Charge Station U will be available come February 2013 and will be priced at $34.99 and you can pick either black or white to match your Nintendo Wii U console.
