After launching an LTE model of the 10.1-inch Galaxy Note in South Korea in November last year, and following the device’s visit at the FCC in December, here we are finally with an official announcement from no other than Samsung. Via press release, the South Korean technology giant said that its Galaxy Note 10.1 will be available on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Mobile Broadband network in the coming weeks. The announcement is pretty much expected. Since its global debut last year, there were rumors already that Samsung is working on an LTE model. Today, Samsung is finally confirming our doubts.
Apart from its LTE powers, the soon to be released tablet retains the original features of the Galaxy Note 10.1 (In case you missed our honest review of the tablet, you can check it out here). As a matter of review, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1-inch tablet features a 1280 x 800 display resolution and it is running Android 4.1. Under the hood is a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor and a 2GB RAM and 6GB, 32GB, and 64GB storage flavors. It sports a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.9-megapixel frontfacing camera, and a 7,000mAh battery. And oh yes, don’t forget its support for LTE, thanks to Verizon’s network. There’s no word on pricing yet, so stay tuned for more updates.
