[CES 2013] Soundmatters has just announced the foxL DUET, which has been touted to be a high-powered compact desktop and travel friendly stereo hi-fi satellite and subwoofer system, all crammed into a single device for your convenience. Basically, the foxL DUET would merge the foxL aptX, the recently announced audio purist’s pocket-portable speaker/speakerphone and the palm-sized foxLO powered subwoofer, resulting in just that – an amazing duet!

Whoever said that small means useless, or not as good anymore after listening to what the Soundmatters foxL DUET is able to offer? Assuming you need to head off for a business trip, all you need to do is detach the subwoofer, stash the foxL portable speaker into your pocket or briefcase, and enjoy great sounding audio wherever you are. Out for a vacation? Not a problem as you can bring along both the travel-sized foxLO subwoofer and foxL. The foxL DUET system delivers a savings of $50 savings over the components’ individual prices with a sticker price tag of $349 when it arrives this coming February. [Press Release]
