Hot on the heels of Logitech’s announcement yesterday of its popular Ultrathin Keyboard being made for the iPad Mini, Belkin has a bit of news of its own concerning its own keyboard case for the iPad Mini.

Belkin’s FastFit keyboard case is said to be the “lightest and thinnest” keyboard case around as it measures in at just 7mm thick, which is actually thinner than the iPad Mini itself. What helps keep its weight down is due to the anodized aircraft-grade aluminum its manufactured with.

The FastFit keyboard case is equipped with Belkin’s TruType keyboard and connects to your iPad Mini through Bluetooth 3.0, offering 155 hours of active use with its 200mAh battery. The FastFit is also equipped with a magnetic clasp that will automatically lock your iPad when covered, and awaken when removed.

The FastFit keyboard case has matched the price of Logitech’s Ultrathin Keyboard at $79.99, although it isn’t currently available, but will be “soon.”
