There is very little known about Apple’s next generation iPhone at the moment, as we have yet to come across leaks of its hardware as to how it will look like, let alone the kind of circuitry that Cupertino intends to stuff underneath the hood. What we do know, however, is that Apple will surely not stop at the iPhone 5 when it comes to their smartphone business, leading many to believe that the successor to the iPhone 5 would continue in the naming convention that started it all with the iPhone 3GS, calling it the iPhone 5S this time around.

Well, what is it about the iPhone 5S that is worth talking about this time around? Word on the grapevine has it that Apple might very well throw in NFC and fingerprint technology into the iPhone 5S, as there has been suggestions made concerning the fruity company making use of the fingerprint sensor as an improvement to its security, while NFC capability will enable the handset to play catch up with previous generation rivals from the Android platform.
