With Apple’s design guru Jony Ive taking the lead on iOS, we’re sure that many are excited as to what sort of changes Ive will be able to bring to the table come iOS 7 which based on past releases, should be announced at this year’s WWDC sometime in June. While we doubt that there will be an extensive overhaul, we are hoping that Ive will be able to bring some of his design magic to the software, but in the meantime Mohamed Kerroudj has come up with an iOS 7 concept of his own which we can only wish was real.

Gone is the skeuomorphic design that was used extensively not just in iOS, but OS X. Instead Kerroudj’s concept seems to have taken design cues from Google and Windows Phone, making this iOS 7 concept very clean, minimal and “flat”. If you have a couple of minutes to spare, be sure to check out the concept videos above and after the break, and be sure to leave your comments below on what you guys think!
