Leaks and rumors tend to make the news each and every single day, but sometimes, they are hits as proven in due time, and for other rumors, those end up as just rumors without a sliver of truth in them. Well, we did hear about the possible Nexus 5 that is said to arrive soon, although everyone ought to take notice that the images which you see above of the alleged Nexus 5? They are as fake as can be.

It seems that PhoneArena were supplied the above images by an anonymous (I would not have expected it any other way, of course) tipster who claimed that the Nexus 5 will come with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 800 chipset, a 16-megapixel camera, and a rather nifty 3GB RAM, which have been bandied around prior, but have yet to be confirmed. Not only that, it seems that the very same tipster claimed that the X in the Nexus logo on the handset would function as a notification light. Apparently, what you see here is the Hero H9500+ that has been graphically edited to include the Nexus logo. Yeah, bummer, right?
