Nokia_presser_imageWe know that Nokia has announced an event on the 14th of May and it will be unveiling the Finnish company’s new Lumia device, presumably the Lumia 928, or “Catwalk” as it is codenamed. It could even be the rumored 41 megapixel Lumia phone that has been making its rounds. Either way the event is expected to take place in London, but interestingly it seems that Nokia has also announced another event, with this event taking place before the 14th of May.

It seems that Nokia has sent out invites to an event that will be held on the 9th of May, although in this case this particular event will be held in India. We’re not sure what this event will be about or what sort of devices we might be able to see, but considering that Nokia’s CEO, Stephen Elop, did state that the company had plans for new Lumia and Asha devices, and with India being one of the emerging markets prime for Nokia’s Asha lineup, we’re guessing this announcement might have more to do with Asha offerings rather than Lumia ones. In any case check back with us on the 9th of May for the details.
