Folks who happen to live in the world’s most populous country (now that would be China just in case your general knowledge is not up to par), you would be pleased to hear that the Nokia Lumia 720T is headed for that part of the world. Of course, this is not the only new Windows Phone 8-powered device that will roll out in China anytime soon, but the Nokia Lumia 720T will boast of China Mobile’s own TD-SCDMA technology.
This particular smartphone has already picked up the relevant nods of approval from Chinese authorities in recent times, which is somewhat the equivalent of seeing a device getting approved by the folks over at the FCC before it hits the mass markets. So far, we have no idea as to the pricing strategy for the Nokia Lumia 720T, although it might even be “free” if you decide to settle for select plans. Other than TD-SCDMA support, the Nokia Lumia 720T does not depart from the vanilla Nokia Lumia 720 in terms of hardware in other markets.
