Over the past few years, Guile’s theme, which is a background song for Street Fighter II’s Guile’s stage, has been taking the Internet by storm. It has slowly been injected into a large number of videos to instantly make them a viral sensation due to everyone’s agreement in the track instantly making anything better.

Smooth McGroove recently published his acapella version of the Guile theme, specifically from the Street Fighter II Super Nintendo version, and we think it’s by far one of the best versions of the song that we have heard. McGrove not only accurately belts out each portion of the song with amazing accuracy, but he is even able to match the slight changes in the higher portions of the song which sound like the tune is sliding back and forth.

We think if you’re a fan of the Guile theme, you’re going to instantly love this track and will probably listen to it several times in a row like I did to pick up the small intricacies of the acapella version that has seriously impressed me.
