acer-iconia-b1-710When it comes to the different kinds of tablets that are in the market, you know that Apple has had its fair share of successes in the past, and continue to be a top seller even until today, regardless of whether they are in a first world country market, or pushing the iPad and iPad mini in emerging markets. Having said that, Android-powered tablets too, have their champions, but the name Acer might not quite resonate as loudly as that of, say, Samsung. Still, this does not mean that the likes of Acer are just going to sit back and watch the world go by. No sir, it seems that the Acer Iconia B1-710 is about to be released to the general market soon, especially when it has started to appear in FCC documents.

The Acer Iconia B1-710 would be the successor to the Acer Iconia B1-A71, where it is said to have a new and improved design, in addition to a black bezel and a white back. Not only that, Acer has been more generous this time around, bumping up the RAM to 1GB from its previous miserly amount of 512MB, and not only that, you can expect to see a 3G model hit the market alongside a quad-core processor. Those who feel that they are able to survive with just a Wi-Fi only model will have to settle for a dual-core processor instead. There is no word on pricing just yet, so stay tuned!
