asus-memo-pad-10-announcedASUS’ MeMo Pad was recently updated to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, but could that be all the updates that ASUS has in mind? According to the folks at TechBlog.gr, they have learnt that ASUS could be interested in upgrading the MeMo Pad, which could also be known as the MeMo Pad Smart 10 (ME302KL), and basically turn it into a cheaper version of the Transformer Pad Infinity, just minus the keyboard dock.

Based on intel that TechBlog.gr have managed to obtain, some of the specs of this alleged updated MeMo Pad includes a 10.1” Full HD 1920×1080 display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, Adreno 320 GPU, 1GB of RAM, optional 4G LTE connectivity option, a 13MP camera, a front 1.2MP camera, 16GB of internal storage with the option to expand via microSD, and a 5,050mAh battery. They were unable to ascertain as to which version of Android it will be running on, but it is probably a safe bet to say it will be one of the Jelly Bean versions, Android 4.1 at the very least.

No word on when ASUS will be debuting this updated MeMo Pad, but take it with a grain of salt for now and check back with us at a later date for the details if there are any to be had.
