The Asus Transformer AiO was unveiled back at Consumer Electronics Show 2013 in Las Vegas. This device is a desktop/tablet hybrid which runs dual operating systems, Windows 8 in desktop mode and Android when it is in tablet mode. Only last month we reported that Asus Transformer AiO has gone on sale for $1,299. Today Asus has started rolling out the Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean firmware update for this device. This device comes with Android 4.1 pre-installed, this latest update greatly improves the user experience as Android 4.2.1 brings the ability to configure multiple users accounts on a single device.

Even though it can be detached from the base to be converted in to a tablet, it isn’t the sort that you can carry around in your backpack. The Transformer AiO touts an 18.4 inch 1080p full HD IPS display with a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quadcore processor and 2GB of DDR3 RAM under the hood. In order to get the latest Android 4.2.1 firmware update on this desktop/tablet hybrid, all users have to do is to launch the Settings app, tap on About tablet followed by System Updates. The rest takes place over-the-air.
