Gran Turismo 6 Could Be Announced Next Week

Racing game fans, if you have enjoyed the previous versions of Sony’s Gran Turismo franchise, you might be interested to learn that the company could be unveiling Gran Turismo 6 next week. Sony has sent out a press release in which they revealed that they would be holding a special event in the UK next week where they would be celebrating 15 years of Gran Turismo. The event will take place at the Silverstone Circuit on the 15th of May and while Sony did not explicitly state their intentions to announce the game, we have heard reports of the games imminent launch sometime this year for the Sony PlayStation 3 (no word on whether there will be PlayStation 4 support). Either way if you’re a fan of the franchise, be sure to check back with us on the 15th of May for the details! In the meantime feel free to check out the teaser trailer in the video above.
