HTC-One-16According to a report earlier this year, the HTC One was expected to be the company’s only flagship phone for 2013, but according to a set of new rumors, maybe not. It seems that HTC might not be satisfied with the 4.7” display of the HTC One and is apparently gearing up to launch a HTC One phone with an even larger display that is set to debut later this year. According to the source of Pocket-Lint, the exact size of this new display remains unknown, but it is expected to be bigger than the current HTC One and could be anywhere starting at 5”, but will remain below 6”.

As for the specs of the device, it is expected to remain the same as the current HTC One, with the only difference being it screen size. If this is true, it would put the HTC One in competition with phones like the Xperia Z from Sony and the Galaxy S4 from Samsung, both of which sport displays around 5”. In any case take this with a grain of salt for now, but what do you guys think? Would you be more inclined to purchase a HTC One if it had a 5” screen or bigger?
