The internet is full of memes these days. Not only are there dedicated sites which feature these funny images, memes are also widely shared on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook. They are perhaps one of the most consistent things that the internet offers, popular memes are almost instantly recognized by majority of internet users around the world. There are some memes that can rightly be called internet sensations, ‘Grumpy Cat’ is one of them. Known for carrying captions of displeasure and disdain, the cat with a big frown has now reportedly got a movie deal.
The Wall Street Journal reports that this cat’s agent, yes Grumpy Cat actually has an agent, is having talks with Broken Road Productions to get the cat starred in a comedy. Apparently the producer believes a big family comedy can be produced around this character. Referred to as a Garfield-style feature film, Grumpy Cat will reportedly be able to speak in this movie. Its not known as yet when this movie actually enters in to production stage, or what title it will have. Who wants to see Grumpy Cat in action on the big screen?
