xbox-one-skype-remote-playGames have caught up with the silver screen for some time now when it comes to revenue generation, and according to the folks over at Microsoft, they will be investing approximately $1 billion in cold, hard cash, so that they can stumble upon the next Halo. Yes sir, Halo was what helped push Microsoft’s Xbox into the mainstream consciousness, and to hear that there is a $1 billion war chest in an effort to come up with exclusive games for the recently announced Xbox One is definitely a tantalising proposition. This bit of encouragement came about after there were complaints going around, touting that the Xbox One did not pay enough focus on the gaming experience.

Microsoft’s Don Mattrick and Phil Spencer did share some of their viewpoints into what the Xbox One will deliver in terms of games, where the former believed that “people are way, way under-indexing how hard we’re punching” where the Xbox One and its slew of games are concerned. Hopefully when it comes to the June 10 Xbox One E3 reveal, Mattrick will be proven correct. After all, history has shown that the best hardware need not necessarily win the war. Well, with the Xbox One controller touted to take up to 10 years of “punishment”, we’re hoping the console would last that long at the very least.
